Geeta Society a non profit educational organization has been established to promote understanding between and within faiths and to give voice to the timeless wisdom of ancient scriptures which speak about universal love, peace and harmony. The teachings from old religious texts become valuable resources for present and future generations when translated in simple inspiring style for contemporary world. Living in a world circumscribed at each step by commerce, gains, losses, rapid social and cultural changes, there is a need for increased sharing of ancient knowledge. Mrs. Prabha Duneja, the founder president of society has translated some religious text and also authored a number of books:

Keeping in mind the cherished goal to educate the community and introduce the modern generation to the precious wisdom of ancient scriptures, Geeta Society imports books from other well known publishers in India. These books are also available to the public with suggested donation to the society.

Although donation from books/audio cassettes helps to support the projects of Geeta society, the primary purpose of all these publications and recordings is to initiate the modern generation into the study of ancient scriptures and help people those are genuinely seeking authentic spiritual growth and actualization of their inherent potentials. Thousands of books and cassettes are distributed free during services especially on Beccalaurete service (Veda arambha samskar), JANAMASHTAMi and Geeta jayanti in temple. Every year hundreds of books/CDs are given free to temples, schools, universities, colleges, churches, mosques and other educational institutes. Mrs. Prabha Duneja the author of all those books published by the society has refused to accept any royalties for books and cassettes. Her dedicated services are an offering to the Divine.
All proceeds from the books and cassettes cover the expenses of publication and support the orphanages, handicapped and blind schools in India.
